Professional Experiences:
With over nine years of experience practice, Ms. Huong-Giang has provided therapeutic support to clients across diverse age groups, with a wide range of concerns.
In Singapore, she worked with preschool children, adolescents, adults, and survivors of domestic violence through group, family, mother-child dyad, and individual art therapy. After returning to Vietnam, she continued working with a wide range of clients, with art therapy as her primary therapeutic approach.
Within the Vietnamese historical and cultural context – where emotions are often suppressed and early childhood trauma remain unspoken – art therapy offers a space for entering clients’ inner worlds and accessing the deep resources embedded within the pain. Together with her clients, she has witnessed the healing potential of art within a safe, nurturing therapeutic relationship.
Beyond clinical practice, Ms. Huong-Giang is committed to the development of art therapy in Vietnam, with the hope of making this deeply soul-touching approach more accessible to the community. She currently serves as an adjunct lecturer in art therapy at several universities in Ho Chi Minh City
