Child Intervention Services
In addition to psychological and developmental assessments conducted by specialists from the Children’s Hospital in collaboration with Psychub, a key strength of Psychub’s child mental health services lies in its support and intervention programs based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.

PARENT AND CHILD SUPPORT PROGRAMS
General Development and Functional Assessment: This assessment package is individually designed for each child according to their age.
– Children are assessed on their overall developmental level across key skills and abilities, as well as the urgency of any need for behavioral or psychological intervention.
– Children may also be assessed across different areas of cognitive functioning, helping parents gain a clearer understanding of their child’s strengths and areas that may require additional support.
🌟 If you would like to understand your child’s current developmental stage, or have concerns about behavioral, emotional, or communication difficulties, this service can help provide a clearer picture.
🌟 The strengths and challenges identified during the assessment may also guide parents in making appropriate adjustments to their parenting approaches.
CHILD AND ADOLESCENT COUNSELLING (UNDER 18 YEARS OLD)
Designed for young people aged 14–18, this service includes clinical psychological counselling sessions with the child, along with guidance and working sessions with parents (conducted independently or in parallel, as appropriate).
Clients are supported by professionally trained psychologists, while parents receive guidance, skills, and knowledge to better understand and support their child.
All psychological interventions for clients under 18 are delivered with strict adherence to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards, always prioritizing the child’s best interests.
BEHAVIOURAL INTERVENTION AND THERAPY
Designed for children aged 2–6 years. The one-on-one behavioral intervention program may be provided alongside a general developmental assessment, or requested independently by parents if the child already has a diagnosis or a reliable assessment from another professional provider.
Behavioral intervention and therapy services are suitable for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), language delay, and other behavioral challenges.
Each intervention program is individually tailored to the child and discussed in detail with parents to establish clear therapeutic goals. All intervention programs at Psychub include parent guidance and coaching, helping parents learn how to play, interact, and practice supportive activities with their child at home.
PARENT CONSULTATION AND TRAINING
Provides families with knowledge in developmental psychology, behavioral psychology, and an understanding of specific developmental disorders relevant to the child’s challenges.
Trains parents in essential skills to help reduce and manage challenging behaviors in children.
Supports parents in addressing common difficulties, such as uncertainty about how to communicate and interact with their child, feeling unsure how to respond to impulsive behaviors, or not knowing how to best support their child when difficulties arise.
If your child shows any of the following signs or concerns, please contact us promptly so we can provide timely support:
Signs of autism spectrum disorder
Delayed speech or language development
Difficulty recognizing family members or limited awareness of the surrounding environment
Learning difficulties at school (e.g., inattention, slower progress compared to peers)
Difficulty adjusting to new environments (such as moving house, changing schools, or starting school)
Experiences of violence, or displaying aggressive behaviors at home or at school
Challenges during the toddler stage (around age three), where parents may struggle with communication, guidance, and support
Challenges related to puberty (preparing for this developmental stage, body image concerns, emotional distress, or feelings of discomfort)
- And other related concerns
With structured assessment and intervention programs, along with a highly qualified and child-centered professional team, Psychub will walk alongside both children and parents on this journey, one that requires patience, compassion, and understanding
